Creative Studio Manager

We're looking for a brilliant Creative Studio Manager to join our in-house Creative team here at Loaf HQ.

You will use your top-notch planning skills to efficiently organize our in-house Creative team, ensuring our talented designers and copywriters know what's expected of them and when it's needed by. You'll use your brilliant communication skills to keep your wider stakeholder group up-to-speed on progress against creative briefs. And you'll obsess over hitting deadlines while ensuring our creative talent have the support they need to do their best work.

Some of what the job involves (key areas):

  • Review incoming briefs and ensure they're fit for an effective and efficient creative process
  • Plan, assign and schedule briefs to our designers and/or copywriter
  • Grade briefs on complexity and provide guidance to creative leads on how to address them
  • Ensure all creative is delivered on time and as per the brief
  • Keep key project stakeholders up to speed with progress against briefs
  • Oversee sign off and approval process for all creative and copy
  • Run weekly resource and project status meeting
  • Identify gaps in creative resource and propose/recruit freelance support as and when required
  • Raises POs for all creative production, sampling and freelancers
  • Source and manage creative partners and production companies
  • Support the Creative Director with recruiting new talent
  • Continuously look for way of improving ways of working and making our creative processes more efficient

To set you up for success, we're looking for the following:

  • An A-player Creative Studio Manager with a proven track record - preferably with a brand we know and love
  • An ability to craft brilliant briefs that provide our Creative team with the information they need to conceive top-notch brand creative
  • An insanely organised and highly meticulous planner
  • A fusspot about detail with a relentless commitment to delivering outstanding work to agreed deadlines
  • An excellent communicator and an ability to connect and influence people across all areas of the business (so you need to be able to laugh at yourself!)
  • Always on the look-out to improve how things are done, challenging the status quo and never accepting second best
  • A good understanding of print processes and terminology
  • Happy working under pressure in a fast-paced environment (we know, everyone says that!), bringing a positive vibe to work every day no matter what curve balls are thrown
  • And, most importantly of all, you absolutely must be an all-round good egg, with a real can-do willingness to get on with the job and make great things happen.
