Quality Assurance Tester - 18 Month FTC

We have ambitious plans to become the UK's iconic Premium Home brand with sales in excess of £250 million a year by 2028.

To make this vision a reality, we're immersed in an exciting transformation journey. Over the next 18 months, we will implement a cutting-edge cloud-based ERP, new POS, and OMS solutions. This effort is complemented by ongoing business process enhancements, shaping a more agile and efficient operation.

Position Overview:

This is where you come in. We're looking for someone to join the team on a fixed term basis as our Quality Assurance Tester.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of our ERP upgrade and implementing our new POS and OMS.

You'll be responsible for coordinating and conducting preliminary user testing activities across the business, identifying issues, gathering and translating feedback and validating that our requirements have been met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand department-specific ERP (NAV moving to Business Central, Operations Functions), OMS (Order Management System, CX) and POS (Point of Sale, Shacks) requirements and workflows.
  • Work with ERP Product Manager to create test plans, and scenarios based on business processes for each department.
  • Coordinate user testing sessions with subject matter experts (SMEs) from each department. Ensuring that participants follow test scripts and provide feedback effectively.
  • Document and track defects and issues identified during testing, and work with the project team to prioritise and resolve them.
  • Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders and management.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and user documentation.
  • Provide support to end-users during the initial stages of ERP, OMS and POS system adoption.

  • Effective time management skills to meet testing deadlines and project milestones.

  • You'll be working closely with the Tech team (Operational Tech, Data, E-Commerce), reporting into the ERP Product Manager
  • Across all SMEs (Subject Matter Experts)
  • Head of Departments, Senior Team
  • 3rd Party Vendors (TNP, D3R, Wincanton, Adyen)
